Checking in 4.26.12

I know I have been slacking with this blog since I went back to work so I am going to try posting from my phone at least for today lol.  So I don't have my lists of questions here so I am looking at bucket lists.  I think it is great to have all kinds of goals and essentially that is what a bucket list is, goals to do before you die.  so for today I think we will make a summertime bucket list.  Things you want to do this summer.
1. Hike the trail to cape flattery in neah bay
2.  Go to all the zoos I can find in western washington
     So far I have woodland park zoo, point defiance zoo, cougar mountain zoo, seattle aquarium, northwest trek, wolfhaven and the olympic game farm to see this summer
3,  go to my aunts cabin before she sells it
4.  Fly a kite
5.  Touch a horse - I already held a pig at the spring fair so I can do this
6.  Roller skate
7.  Sell some of my homemade scrapbooks
8.  Hike all the way to the falls at marymere falls

Well that is my list so far - hope you have fun making yoursand doing them all

bucket list day 9 4/17/2012

Are there any special moments you want to witness?

I would love to see my son get married and have children.  I would love to see all my nieces and nephews graduate from high school and college.  I think those are the biggest things - but in reality I try to witness something special every day.  Today I witnessed the tulips around work were starting to bloom.  Tulips are special to me because my mom loved them.  So, I took a photo with my phone of the tulips and the building at work.

Hello all and Happy Easter or Passover or just plain Sunday :)

My new job is going really well and I am loving it so far.  hmmm a weeks worth of journaling prompts.  i hope you all dont mind if i dont answer all of them.

so to start:
If you won a million dollars but had to give it all away, who would you give it to and why?
     I guess it would depend on the actual rules - if give it all away means i can choose charities i would totally give it all to charities that help the homeless, the hungry and foster children.  if it has to be a person, i would probably give it to bill gates (yes one of the richest men in the world) with the stipulation that he donate it all to his gates foundation for charitable work.

Finish the sentence about yourself: I never..... I never thought that after working the better part of my life i would have a 4 year period where i couldnt work either because of the economy or disabling pain.  it has been my reality for the last 4 years, but is now coming to an end and i cant believe how much i love working.

This is how others see me.  This is how I see myself.

   I think others see me as this happy cheerful person, positive attitude, party girl, a little crazy.  how do i see myself??  quiet, artsy, granola (nature girl), hippie.

What do we mean when we say "Hitch your wagon to a star"?

     I will leave this one for you all to answer.  I would love to see your answers if you wish to share them.

great news for me

Hi all,
just wanted to check in and let you know that i got a job.... this means that i will not have as much time to work on my blogs but I will do my best to post as often as i can.  i love my blogs and dont want to have to sacrifice them at all, but a job is a job :)
